About

The 'Little Artists' art program are art classes designed for Children ages 2-4, taught by professional artist Hilary Scott.
The classes will nurture students imagination, and artistic expression. We will explore different materials and media and introduce various types of technique. Themes like nature, seasons, weather, food, animals, people, letters, family, holiday will also be introduced. During the lesson children will also have the opportunity to listen to poems, stories and music as a way to inspire and compliment their projects.

About Me



Hilary Scott is an American classical artist who specializes in portrait Drawing and Painting. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Fine Art and Psychology. She then worked as an art teacher in Boston for adults with developmental disabilities. She then moved to Florence, and graduated from The Florence Art Academy, and has participated in group exhibitions throughout the city of Florence. She has been working with children for many years and is passionate about early art education and is also the mother of a baby girl.

Why Art Classes?

Studies have shown that exposing children to art had marked improvement in motor skills, coordination, concentration, and problem solving. Art lessons also encourage and nurture each child's creativity, and curiosity and self expression in a safe environment.

Events & Workshops

We had a successful gingerbread holiday workshop for Christmas 2012. It was filled with lots of candy, gingerbread, creativity and smiles.
